Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., preceding the funeral service. Interment will be in Chapel Hill- Butler Cemetery. Cards and flowers are welcome.
Joyce was born on Aug. 3, 1929, in Kansas City, KS to Joseph and Mary Brown, the third of five children with 1 brother and 3 sisters. Joyce graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS, in 1947. She was married to Myron Burton until he passed on May 10, 1983. They had no children. Joyce worked for TG&Y on Leavenworth Road in Kansas City, Kansas until she retired in 1995. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. She is survived by her younger brother Joe Brown and his wife Gayle of Kansas City, Kansas, one niece, two nephews, and their children.
