June Marie Bernard

June Marie Bernard, 82, of KCK, passed away Friday, July 11th. Visitation will be from noon-2:30p.m., and funeral service at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 15th, all at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

June was born April 22, 1932 in KCK to Buster and Mary Waldo. She married William Bernard in 1957 and stayed at home to raise her family. June enjoyed flower gardening, shopping, paint-by-numbers and collecting dolls. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Mary, her beloved husband, William Bernard, her son, Ronald Bernard and her brother, James Waldo.

June leaves to cherish her memory her son, Robert Bernard and his wife Julie, her daughter, Sandy Atkinson and her husband Terry; her grandchildren, Amy Haller, Chrissy Roellchen and her husband Jason and Ryan Bernard; her siblings, Lewis Waldo, Norma Pearson, Georgia Rollf, Janet Eimer, and Mary Quinn; as well as many other family members and friends.
