
Bunny passed away November 23, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House. She was born November 17, 1927 in Aliceville, Kansas to Karl and Kathryn (Bracher) Nolte. Preceding her in death were her parents, her beloved husband of 61 years, Norman Charles "Chic" Lauber, and infant daughter Janice. Surviving her are brother Dick Nolte, sister Eileen Peerson, son Greg Lauber and his wife Karen, son Tom Lauber and his wife Nancy, grandchildren Audrey, Kathy, Stuart, Henry, and many nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Kansas where she served Christ and her church family for many years on the Altar Guild and the Ladies Aid Society, doing everything from teaching Sunday School to beautifying the grounds of the Church. She and Chic also served the greater community by devoting countless hours of work to the food pantry and Christmas store of Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries. She was a kind and loving person and we were blessed to have her in our lives. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 am Wednesday, November 26, 2014, with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 701 North 94th Street, in Kansas City, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bunny's name may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Kansas City, Kansas.
