Mary Lou, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 20, 2016 at her home in KCKS. A visitation will be Friday, November 25th from 5-7p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 6:30p.m. at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., KCKS 66112. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 26th at 10a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., KCKS 66112.
Mary Lou was born April 12, 1930 in Argentine, KS. She attended Clara Barton and Argentine High School. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Jose and Rebecca Ibarra; her son, Mark S. Garcia; former husband, Antonio “Sinatra” Garcia; and sister, Annie Zuniga. Mary Lou is survived by her sons, Anthony G. (Mary) and Chris P.; sister, JoAnn (Charles) Sheldon; brother, Martin (Martha) Ibarra; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
