Melinda P Creason

Melinda Creason, 56, passed away September 22, 2015. A visitation will be held Saturday, September 26th from 2:00-3:00 PM with the funeral service at 3:00 PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Phone: 913-334-3366. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to a cancer charity of your choice.

Melinda was born to Luther and Joyce (Hackney) Morgan on September 3, 1959. She graduated from Washington High School in 1977. For the past 34 years, Melinda has worked for Rocktenn. In her spare time, Melinda enjoyed spending time water skiing at the lake or traveling. She spent the majority of her life in the Kansas City area, before moving to Richmond, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father, Luther. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Joshua (Amber) Creason; step-sons, Phillip (Ellen) Creason, Dustin (Hennie) Creason and Michael Creason; mom, Joyce Dunham; step-dad, Ron Dunham; sister, Lucinda (Jimmie) Hontz; step-brother, Alan Dunham; step-sister, Teresa (Jerry) Mitchell; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
