I just found out (March 2023) that Mike had passed. He was a person who gained my respect because of how he treated others. Many Policemen are challenged to be good men because of the work they have to do. Mike had a heart of gold. A person is defined by their works, hopefully one although not perfect , can do more good than otherwise. From Terence and Tausha Hall, we thank you for your friendship, helpful spirit  and knowledge. 

Michael's service is tomorrow at the VA Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas at 11 AM. Here is a picture of Michael from 2015 when on vacation in the northeastern United States.

I already shared a story, but just found a photo of his of his most loved one left behind..Jefferson. His beloved dog, and best friend.. I apologize, but I only have the lower half of Mike in this photo. Could not find any photos of him.

I met Mike around 2003.. He hired me at his scooter shop in Lawrence,  KS, and was a kind employer.. ...we became great friends over the years.. at a couple of different occasions, I rented a room at his house and got to know him very well.. I have so many good memories of him.. I could tell stories all day long, but there is probably not enough space for me to type them all.😁.. he had a long, and fruitful life.. May he stand with God as he looks down upon the loved ones he left behind💙

After meeting Michael in 1983, he quickly became a friend, confidant, and ultimately best man. Micheal’s humble mannerisms highlighted his compassion for others yet frequently concealed his wisdom and courage. Knowing Michael proved an honor. 

We we're shocked to hear about your passing. We love you dearly and we will miss you so much. You were always there for us no matter what and we thank you dearly.  RIP Mike

I love you my dear Brother-in-Law. I will never forget the day you walked me down the aisle at my wedding. I have such fond memories of staying  with you when we came to Kansas City. You accepted me into the family with unconditional love. Thank you. Love, Kath
