I har known Mike for about 35 years going back to playing strategy games with him in Manhattan KS as part of the MMG gaming group.  I was fresh out of high school, he was a gentle giant that tried not take games too seriously, a rarity in gaming, but something I tried to lean from.  I will miss him deeply.

I was greatly saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I knew him for years by his screen name Pukingdog. We shared a couple of hobbies. Met in person at a couple of shows and learned his real name. It is a rare person that I have nothing negative to say about them. Mike was one of those rare people. Nothing but respect to my lost friend.

To the Millhouse family:

It was a life well lived for Mike.  He crammed a lot into his time here, and we are lucky to call him a friend.

It will be tough to know that I can't pick up the phone and call him, or get one of his weekly emails he would forward along to me.  I treasure those memories, and he will never be far from our thoughts.

I sincerely hope that he is happily surrounded by all sorts of dogs and cats that eagerly awaited his arrival on the other side of the bridge.

We love you Mike.

Mike (back row, second from left in one of his ballcaps) with some of the OSW gang at Weekend of Heroes in 2007. That was one of the best weekends ever and a highlight of the hobby years for me. It was the year I met him in person.

To Mike's Family:
I first met Mike over the internet as a member of OSW. He was "Puking Dog" or "PD" for short whenever we corresponded but then I met him in person at Weekend of Heroes in L.A. and he was just Mike after that. I can still see his ballcap firmly a-fixed to his head with that old-school curved brim, and that huge moustache smile beneath those glinting eyes. His magic ability to befriend animals wherever he went certainly extended to people. It did for me. He was living proof that you don't need to live near someone or see them regularly for them to stay a friend' they just "are". One of my favorite memories of Mike is when he actually suspended me from posting on OSW for a week. Some other members had got into an argument and went way off the topic of the figures in the thread's original post. Mike gave everyone fair warning to keep it to the figures, and that the next person to go off topic would "win get a 7-day holiday". I replied with some kind of message of support, which was in all honesty off topic of the figures. Of course, Mike made good on his warning and I won that 7-day holiday. And I deserved it. Above all else, Mike's integrity extended to his friends. We had a good laugh about it. God bless you, Mike!

To the family of Michael Millhouse,

I only have 2000 characters to write so I will be brief.

I first met Mike over on OSW.  A very, very, very nice man.  Over the years I can truly say that we became friends.  I have only met 4 friends over the internet, and your father was one of them.  A truly benevolent man.

I noticed that he had not been on AF (Action Figure) for over a month...then over 2 months....I started to worry about him.  I wrote a fellow AF and told him about Mike, and he said it was unusually for Mike to stay away from AF for so long.  So I sent an email and messaged him over on FB.  No reply.   Then the fellow member, Mike also, messaged me that your father passed away.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss.  Even though we have never met in person, I have lost a great friend.

I knew Mike from the One Sixth Warriors (OSW) forum. Mike certainly loved the hobby, and we talked about it often. We also talked about food and animals as well. 
He was a fun person, and he was loyal to his friends. We kept in touch through Facebook the last few years. 
He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. My condolences to the family.

I knew Mike from the OSW days.  He and I were mods on that forum and had some greats times, lots of laughs and even some frustrating moments.
We would talk at length about the hobby (1/6th scale) and the future of both the forum, the hobby and those collectors around us.
Once OSW went down, and we both "retired" from the Mod world, we still kept in contact through FaceBook where we shared the same types of conversations.
 I especially loved Mikes sense of Humor and quick wit.
My condolences to the family, 
Mike, RIP brother, you will be missed.
