Nicole Gregory

Nicole Gregory, 30, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away April 3, 2012 at Providence Medical Center. A Celebration of Nicole’s Life will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., KC, KS. A time of gathering and sharing will follow the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to a trust on behalf of Nicole’s children.

Nicole was born August 22, 1981 to James Oketo and Virginia Gregory. She went to Schlagle High School, graduated from Washington and recently put herself through Wright Business School. Nicole loved her family more than anything; her children, Mayra, Kenny and Johnny as well as her boyfriend Chuck were her life. They built a beautiful life together and were looking forward to buying a home. Her father James Oketo Gregory was killed in service in 1982 and her grandfather Kenneth Gregory also preceded her in death. Nicole is survived by her mother Virginia Gregory and her fiancé Rich Lance; children Mayra Gregory, Kenny Julo and Johnny Julo; fiancé Chuck Espy and his family; brother James Oketo Gregory, Jr.; sister Karen Helena Nobuko Gregory and her daughter Ashley Jones; her grandmother Nobuko Gregory and many other family and friends.
