She was a homemaker and loved to spend her time doing crafts or teaching. She taught Sunday school at Judson Baptist Church and loved all the children that she worked with there. She also loved and enjoyed spending time with all of her own children and grandchildren. She was the best mom and grandma in the world and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Smith, who she loved to the moon and back.
She is survived by her three children, Don, Sherri (Gary), and Nancy, as well as her six grandchildren Jason, Chad, Shelli, Shannon, Jarek, and Ashley
A visitation for Norma Jean Smith will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 2:30pm, immediately followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
