Patricia J. Thompson, 92, passed away on March 1, 2025 at Meadowbrook Hospital in Gardner, Ks. She was a resident of Vintage Park of Louisburg since 2022. Patricia was born at home on January 19, 1933, to Dorothy and Charles Botteron. She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Woody Botteron, sisters Joyce Martin and Gloria Wilson Brown, and her sons Lee Thompson and Gary Thompson.
She worked at Sunshine Biscuits before landing her dream job with the Santa Fe Railroad and later Burlington Northern Santa Fe. She enjoyed traveling with family and going to dances prior to Covid 19 shutting them down.
Survivors are her son Kenneth Thompson and his children Kenneth Jr., Michael, and Gabrielle. Her other survivor is her daughter Pamela Knight, son in law Dennis, granddaughter Christine, grandsons Jason, Adam and Joshua Knight, 26 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone who know her.
