Rich, I miss you for your smiles, jokes, teasing and awesome personality. The Wellness Center will have a big void for me when I return to workout and do the classes we shared together. Peace my friend and watch over me❤️

There are angels among us. Richard was one. They never stay long enough.

Richard I will always cherish your friendship,  kindness and love. You were one of my oldest and most favorite friends.  I am so thankful that you were a part of my life. It was better because of you. You will forever be missed. RIP  Love you more.

Richard was a good friend and associate,  he was always happy and out going, he always was concern about other people always checking to make sure I was okay? Knowing when I wasn't feeling good or something was bottering me,  you see I lose my wife of 47 years a year ago and I'm a cancer survivor but have issues at times and Richard was aware.  At times I would be down or not feeling good and he knew and always keep and eye out. Saying something to up lift me, he was a good friend kind, and caring I'm going to miss his crazy jokes and his caring smile. God has another helper and we've lost another angel, rest well my friend rest well!

He would always make going to walmart fun ! I always looked forward to hearing his jokes and would always make me laugh even on my bad days , going to walmart will never be the same . rest easy ❤️

The Wellness Center will not be the same without Rich coming in and brightening our days.   He was was a positive and fun light the shined whenever he walked through the Wellness Center doors.  I have spoken to many Wellness members who are devastated by this loss. I hope we all can learn a good joke and spread the good energy that Rich brought to us.  Thanks for the good memories Rich.

Had the pleasure of knowing Rich for 35 years, was an honor to call him family! He was always happy to see me and always had a joke to tell. He was an inspiration in that he always had a smile on his face and legitimately wanted the best for everybody he came into contact with. There was not a more hard working, loyal person. He wore that Wal-mart badge with pride and was always eager to tell you how many years of service he had. He found the greatest joy in some of the simplest things in life; a good meal, a board game with family, or a good slice of cake. My favorite memory with Rich was the first time I took him to Dave and Busters; it was truly his Graceland. He loved it there and was like a celebrity in that place, they all knew his name and treated him great. I'll think of him every time I walk in there. You will be missed my friend!  

Richard was such an awesome man with a wonderful sense of humor and gentle kindness. He loved Civitan and we loved him.  Heaven is getting a wonderful angel! Rest In Peace and Condolences to his friends and family.

We lived down the street from Rich and his Mom.  He was always smiling and had something nice to say to everyone.   After we moved from Hazelwood, I would sometimes make a special trip to the Legends Wal-Mart jut to say hi to Rich.  We've lost a kind and caring person.  RIP Richie.

I didn't know him personally, but he was always so nice and so helpful when I was shopping at Wal-Mart.

Many years ago I worked with Richard at the Lawrence, KS Walmart. Such A kind and caring person. And always had A smile. Many thoughts & prayers to the family. ❤

Certainly going to miss Richard...he was a neighbor here in Hazelwood Villas for many years and became a good friend.  He always had a smile and could make anyone feel cheered up and give us a laugh...Walmart was lucky to have him as he had so many friends and acquaintances that looked forward to their Walmart visits in hopes of seeing him.  Enjoy your heavenly home and know  your Mom & Dad are glad to see you.❤❤❤❤

I was his manager at Walmart. He was very hardworking man, he loved everyone and wanted to please all that crossed his path. We kept in touch through messenger. Last time we spoke was on his birthday. He always would say , “ say hello to Janel and don’t forget your husband. “ Janel is my daughter and he adored her. 
I will always have a soft spot in my heart for you. Thank you for caring about me and my family 

Rich, was a character. He was always playing jokes on me at the Wellness Center and at Walmart.He had some great jokes. He had this one joke that was about different pops. It made you laugh so hard. His memory was unbelievable. Do you think I could remember that joke? NOT! I am missing him already. He had a great smile and always greeted you with a smile and how are you. RIP Rich and spread your love in Heaven.💐

I didn't really know Richard personally, but he worked with my husband at Walmart. He always looked happy. You could tell he loved his job. He was always so friendly and helpful to the customers. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Rest in peace, Richard.

My old buddy Richard , alot of years on our friendship, always a bright smile and a good jokester, took everything in stride. Paul, and Phil, I want you to know how much he always bragged about you and your families through the years, he had so much love for you and your mother, and father. Has to be a kick butt reunion in heaven as the reuniting has began. Still remember conversations between he and I about brothers Paul and Phil, and my brother David, Hunting and such, and when Paul got and English Setter, and David got an Irish Setter. Great memories with you my lil' buddy. Rest easy and enjoy your rewards in heaven..........

Richard said always make you laugh and he's really good about that he was a jokester I'll never forget it and every single time I see him online he always say hey Renee but anyway that'll be a memory I'll never forget and he was trying to also get me hired on it Walmart so it's going to be really sad not to see him smile at me funny like he always is....going to miss you Richard love you you are such a great guy you'll never be forgotten by the X-Men or civitan orchids you could always put a smile on everyone's face thank you you'll never be forgotten

Very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. Missed him the past several months contacting me on Facebook to catch up. He grew up down the street from me and I always remember him riding his tricked out bicycle with the steering wheel. I am sure the world is a less bright place without him.

I am so sorry to hear of Richard's passing.  He was always so kind and had plenty of jokes to share!  We'll miss him terribly.

I am so sorry to hear of Richards passing  he was very nice person and whom I considered my very good friend of mine and my husband Shannon Smith Richard was on our Special Olympics team  but now he's not suffering anymore and he's in Heaven with our Awesome Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
