Robert is survived by his loving wife June “Gatton” Babb; his two sons, Blake Babb and Spencer (Amber) Babb; two stepdaughters, Candace (Amber) Dealy and Roxanne Evans; and nine amazing grandkids he loved very much. He is also survived by his siblings, Linda Babb Webster, Stanley (sister-in-law Maureen) Babb, Wilma Babb Shoemaker, James Babb, Richard Babb, Glenn (sister-in-law Diane) Babb, sister-in-saw Carolyn Babb and abundance of nieces and nephews who shared many memories with him.
Robert was proceeded in death, by his father, Jackie Arnold Babb, and his mother, Brunhilde Barbara (Englebrecht) Babb; sister, Nellie Babb; and his brother, Jesse Babb.
Robert’s life was defined by his dedication to his family and a kind, resilient spirit. Known affectionately by many as the "HodGod. " Robert was a rare and steady man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Robert has now traded in his hard hat for a halo, entering eternal peace surrounded by the love of those he cherished. Whether he was mixing the “fluffiest” batch of mud or cheering on the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Robert brought an energy that will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
