Robert "Bob" Ross Jr.

Robert M. Ross, Jr., 64, of KCK, passed away suddenly September 27, 2014 at home. Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m., October 6, 2014 at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., KCK. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Bob was born April 30, 1950 in KCK to Robert and Martha Ross. He grew up in the KCK area and opened his own business, Superior Office Maintenance, which he ran for many years. Bob was a member of the Church of the Brethren in KCK and was active in the church. He loved the KC Chiefs and would watch almost any other game, if it was on. Bob was a Mr. Fix It and many family members would bring their cars and other items to get fixed by Bob.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 27 years, Rebecca Ross and his brother-in-law, Leo Lomaglio.

Bob is survived by his son, Spencer Ross (Amy) of KCK; his daughter, Nancy Childers of KCK; his daughter, Sarabeth Ross of Smithfield, NC; his brother, Phillip Ross (Sohair) of KCK; his half-brother, James Rudy Fields (Teri); his half-sister, Marianne Lomaglio; his grandchildren, Quinton Ross, Robert Childers, Keti Meek, Leighna Chambers, Jennie Ross, Chelbie Chaney and Christa Chaney; his great-granddaughter, Maryanna Ross; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
