Robert “Bob” Eugen Chrisman of Kansas City, KS passed away on March 12, 2020. He was 86 years old. Private family services are scheduled at this time. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
Bob was born on July 28, 1933 at home in Kansas City, Missouri to Harry Mearl and Lena (Shaw) Chrisman. He grew up in the Kansas City area and attended Central High. Then went on to take classes at Kansas State University. Bob started his career working at Thompson Hayward and eventually became the supervisor there. On May 28 1954, he married his beautiful bride, Irene Lewis and together raised 6 children, Edward (Patricia), Steven (Juanita), Janet, Nancy (Alen), Donald (Amanda), and Linda (David).
Bob was a member of _Christ the King Catholic Church). In his free time, Bob enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, and spending time with his family. Bob was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Mearl and Lena; 3 brothers, 2 sisters, his daughter Janet and his great granddaughter Alayna.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 66 years, Irene Chrisman; 5 children; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; his sister, Joan; and many nieces and nephews along with friends and other extended family members.
