Robert Preston Odom

June 27, 1944 - July 23, 2025

He is free with family on July 23, 2025 at the age of 81. He is survived by his Brother Tony Odom of San Diego,California, Stanley Odom and Tribble Odom along with Sister Jennie Fitzgerold Poteau, Oklahoma. Milton Kite of Kansas City, Missouri. Nephew Steven Richmo Our beloved father Robert Preston Odom passed away peacefully in his home nd of Kansas City, Kansas Two daughters Anna Odom of Edwardsville, Kansas and Tina Jones of Lawrence, Kansas. Grandchildren Preston Freeman of Kansas City, Kansas, Jada Jones of Leavenworth, Kansas, Elorikia Jones of Lawrence, Kansas, Alexis of Tonganoxie, Kansas and Kennidy Jones of Lawrence, Kansas. Nieces and Nephews Jason Odom of San Diego, California, Mary Odom of Poteau, Oklahoma. Cousins Martha Poteau, Oklahoma, Haylee Richmond of Kansas City, Kansas, Robynne Wayman first wife, mother of his children and best friend.

He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 27, 1944. His childhood in Oklahoma, Arkansas, California and Kansas instilled a lifelong passion for cars. He grew up with the classics. He loved to speak about anything automotive with anyone who would listen.

He leaves behind his two daughters Anna Odom and Tina Jones. He was preceded in death by his Sister Joan Moore, Mother Madge Meisner, Father Tribble Odom.

His Celebration of life will be held on Friday August 8, 2025 at 4:00pm at Edwardsville Court in Edwardsville, Kansas. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
