

Ronald L. “Ron” Moore, 65, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Thailand, where he was living. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 28th, at Tomahawk Ridge Community Center, 11902 Lowell in Overland Park, Kansas, 66213. Memorial Committal Services were Wednesday, October 3rd at the Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel of Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
Ron was born March 31, 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas to Cecil and Maxine Moore. Before moving to Thailand in 2010, Ron had lived in the Kansas City Area most of his life, graduating from Washington High School in 1965. He was a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War, and he was a long-time employee of Deluxe Check Printers in Lenexa Kansas, where he retired as a Supervisor in 1998. He was a Baseball Coach for many years, and he enjoyed Sailing and SCUBA Diving.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 nephew, Russell Elliott.
Survivors include his wife, Paramee Moore of the home; his son, Jeremy Moore of Belton, Missouri; his step-son, Sean Daives of High Point, North Carolina; 3 step-daughters, Uriwan Mekhotha, Supattra Mekhotha, and Artitaya Mekhotha; his brother, Jerry Elliott of Lenexa, Kansas; and 6 grandchildren.
