As a young man, Ronald answered the call to serve his country, beginning his adult life with discipline, commitment, and a strong sense of duty. During this season, he lived at Travis Air Force Base in California, embracing the structure and purpose of military life while building a foundation for his future.
Ronald married Olivia Anette Miree in Sacramento, California, and together they welcomed two children. He experienced both profound joy and deep loss as a father, carrying these experiences with quiet strength and enduring love.
Throughout his life, Ronald was known for his humility, sense of humor, and steadfast spirit. His faith sustained him through seasons of hardship and sorrow, and he remained grounded in gratitude for life, family, and service. Those who knew him remember a man who endured much, yet continued forward with love, compassion, and resolve.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Robert Roe Sr.; his children, Leah Renee Roe and Ronald Lee Roe II; and his brothers, Robert Roe Jr., Reginald Roe, and Roy Roe.
He leaves behind two beloved sisters, Patricia Newson (Levonn) and Dawna Baker Lawton (Eric), along with extended family and friends who will forever honor his life, his service, and his legacy.
Ronald passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. His life stands as a testament to faith, sacrifice, and service—values that will continue to live on in those who loved him.
