Born June 8, 1944 to Lydia (Manion) and Raymond Dillon in Kansas City, Missouri. Sharon worked as a Central Processing Technician at Providence Medical center, preparing surgical instruments for the operating room for more than twenty years until retirement.
Sharon enjoyed spending quality time with her family, and cherished seeing her grand and great grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as “Big Grandma”. Crosswords, word searches, and puzzles to fill the time brought her much joy. A puzzle always occupied her coffee table and family could join in on finding a few pieces during any visit. Big Grandma loved animals, especially the many pets she had throughout her life, including the love dove that lived over 30 years. In recent years, a fish tank filled with fish and mystery snails had her devoted attention.
As the Matriarch, Sharon created a beautiful legacy for her family. She leaves behind her two daughters, Bridget Beebe, and Belinda Dvorak, two granddaughters Jennifer Kennedy (Chris Kennedy), and Jamie Becerra (Anthony Becerra), four great grandsons, and six great granddaughters, as well as many other family and friends.
Sharon is reunited in heaven with her parents, Lydia and Raymond, her two brothers, Frederick Dillon, and Benjamin Dillon, son in law Charles Beebe, her grandson Justin Owens, and nephew Roger Dillon.
Sharon is so loved and will be deeply missed by many of us still here on earth. May comfort be found in knowing we will meet again some day.
“In my father’s house there are many dwelling places; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go and prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14 : 2-3
