

Timothy Paul Remmers, 52, passed away May 29, 2012 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 1 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., KCK. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Tim was born April 22, 1960 in KCK to Robert Paul and Eddy Jean (Nick) Remmers. He attended Schlagle High School, and enlisted in the Army. Tim was stationed in Germany and Alaska and was honorably discharged in 1986. He worked as a rough-in carpenter and painter. Tim loved going to the lake, gambling and spending time with friends and family and his dogs “Sug” and “Dog” as well as his cat, “Cat.”
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents, Robert and Eddy Jean as well as a niece, Amanda Remmers.
Tim is survived by his siblings, Patti Roberts and husband Richard of KCK; sister Pam Remmers of Independence, MO; sister Nancy Remmers and Bob Ashley of KCK; brother Ed Remmers and Pam Arsenault of Bonner Springs, KS; nephew Steven Dorflinger and wife Jill of Temecula, CA; niece Eddy Jean Goodpaster of Bonner Springs, KS; niece Jennifer Ross and husband Brian of KCK; niece Nikole Remmers of Springfield, MO; nephew Russell Ashley and wife Nicky of Olathe, KS; as well as numerous great-nieces, nephews and friends.
