

Tiny Delphine Beaty, 91, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at home. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Crest Bible Church, 8715 W. 49th Terrace (Merriam & Antioch), Merriam, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Crest Bible Church and the American Cancer Society.
Tiny was born January 27, 1921 in Annona, Texas to Albert Reece and Lucinda (Estes) Wages. After growing up in Texas, she married John B. Beaty in June 1938. During the War, Tiny worked for the Lonestar Ammunition Plant in Texarkana, making hand grenades. The family moved to Kansas in the 1950s. Tiny retired after 30 years as a photo proofer for Interstate Collegiate Press in Merriam, Kansas. She was a member of the Crest Bible Church. Tiny enjoyed puzzles, fishing, and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband John B. Beaty, son, Malcolm Beaty, sisters Faye, Jestine, Vada and her brother Bill.
Tiny is survived by her grandchildren, Terry Beaty of Kansas City, Kansas; Mike Beaty of Willard, Missouri; Connie Stahl and husband Mike of Basehor, Kansas; great-grandchildren Kari Wahl and husband Ben; Amanda George and husband Ryan; Brandi Stahl; great great-granddaughter Scarlett George and numerous church friends.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Crossroads Hospice, Spectrum Home Health and her nurse Julie Tiemann for their loving and compassionate care.
