Adele Marie Hartmann, 88, Kansas City North, passed away November 28, 2012 in Lake George, CO. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 4th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terr, Kansas City, MO, burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Rosary will begin at 5 PM Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with visitation to follow until 8:00 PM. Contributions are suggested to Catholic Charities.
Adele was born January 8, 1924 in Spring Valley, IL. She was an active member of St Patrick Catholic Church for more than 60 years where she belonged to various organizations including the Altar and Rosary Society. She also served in the Parent Teachers Association and Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. Adele was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Joseph in 2007.
Survivors include four sons, Joseph and wife Carol, Christopher and wife, Janice, Douglas, William and wife, Crystal; three daughters, Lynn Johnson, Lisa Pierce and husband, Patrick, and Lori Fetterling; 23 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lois Cloughley and husband, Robert, and Carol Straughn and husband, Dale; and sister-in-law, Pauline Leslie.
