Agnes T. (Quanty) Groff passed away on August 18, 2011 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Visitation will be Monday, August 22nd, at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church (9020 E. 51st Terr., KCMO) from 9-10 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Agnes was born on July 3, 1920. She was an active & founding member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church. Agnes received the Bishop's Recognition Medal for her dedicated service to the church in 1981. She was a member of The Ladies of Charity, St. Ann's Guild, parish sacristans, a Cub Scout Leader and an all around helper. Agnes worked as a comptometer for Chapman Dairy during WWII where she was in charge of the records for rationing the ingredients necessary for the dairy. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren & great- grandchildren. Agnes is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, G. Robert Groff; their son, Bobby Groff; and a sister, Ann Quanty. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Mullin & husband John; daughter-in-law, Shirley Groff; grandchildren, John Mullin Jr. & wife Sarah, Jeremy Mullin, Anthony Mullin, Teresa Mullin, Vincent Mullin, Nick Groff & wife Nicole, Ann Groff Stull & husband Jeff. She was a great-grandmother to Kylie, Kaycee, Makenna, Jack, Avery, Kamren, Molly & Mia. Contributions may be made to St. Bernadette's Food Pantry or the Seton Center (2816 E. 23rd St., KCMO 64127).
