Born in Indiana, he relocated to Kansas City with family where he graduated from Southwest High. After attending University of Missouri-Columbia, he joined the Unites States Navy as an officer. After retiring from a successful career as a corporate accountant for Midwest Research Institute he enjoyed traveling with friends, especially his many trips to Los Osos CA, and Puerto Vallarta Mexico. He served as a volunteer at Saint Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza for over 20 years.
He is survived by his sons, Robert of California and Andrew of New York; their children, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held later in the year.
