Andrew “Andy” Bentley Protzman of Leawood, KS passed away on August 12, 2025. A visitation will be held on August 19th at 9:15am at Church of the Ascension in Overland Park, KS followed by a funeral Mass celebrating his life at 10:00am.
Andy was born on May 20, 1971 in Fort Hood, TX. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1992 and then the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1995. He began his career as an attorney at Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice and would later go on to found his own practice, Protzman Law Firm. Outside of the office, Andy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on the golf course, coaching his kids’ sports teams, and watching the Jayhawks, Chiefs and Royals. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by everyone who was fortunate enough to have crossed his path.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Dean Bentley Protzman.
Survivors include his father, Ron; his wife of 29 years, Pam (Bailey) Protzman; his brother Alex Protzman (Kelly); and his two sons, Jack and Grant.
