Anita Rodriquez

Anita Dominguez Rodriguez, 80 of Kansas City, Missouri, died on Saturday, March 1,2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday March 7th at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2201 Cleveland. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the McGilley Midtown Chapel with rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Anita was born on February 18, 1934 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Adan and Fernanda (Rodriguez) Dominguez, who preceded her in death. In addition to parents, she was preceded by her husband Sabas, on July 13, 2012; one son, Juan Daniel Rodriguez; two step-sons, Liberto Rodriguez and Sabas Rodriguez, Jr.; one step-daughter, Mary Helen Aguilar; brother, Fred Dominguez; and two sisters, Balbina Dominguez and Thea Hernandez. Anita’s survivors include her son, Samuel Rodriguez; four daughters, Angela Rodriguez, Theresa Alvarado, Balbina Krantz, Patricia Montgue; step-daughter, Paula Rodriguez; two sisters, Luisa Eallanes and Mary Juarez; 32 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
