Anna R. Cleveland, “Rembrandt”, passed peacefully into eternity on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. She was born in St. Joseph, Missouri in April of 1923. She brought tremendous joy to many with her witty sense of humor, spunky attitude, including what many loved ones refer to as her no nonsense, non-filtered, tell it like it is way of sharing her feelings. She was respected, honored, and adored by her family.
Anna was united in marriage to George E. Cleveland, Sr., August 19, 1941. They were married for 55 years when George passed away in 1996.
She leaves behind three children, Sharon Frye (Larry), George Jr. (Janet), and Nancy Hibdon (Joe), five grandchildren Randy, Kelley (Joe), Gary (Amy), Jim and Brad, and six great-grandchildren Justin, Jake, Braeden, Emma, Kaylee and Marah.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 5, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
