

He graduated from Raytown South High School in 2011, in which he won a State Championship in 2008 as a member of the track team. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Performance from Prairie View A & M University in 2015. Anthony had a love and zeal for the adventures of life, which was evident in his many decisions after graduating high school. First, his decision to leave the comforts of home and make a life for himself in Houston, Texas. After which, he joined the military where he commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves in Dec. 2015. He was actively pursuing a military career and was soon to be deployed to Kuwait.
Anthony loved traveling abroad, exploring different countries and the freedom of riding his motorcycle 24/7. He was an active member of the H.O.O.D Ryderz Motorcycle club in Houston, TX., where he was known as KC.
Anthony departed this life on July 4, 2016 as a result of a motorcycle accident, due to no fault of his own. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jane Howell, great-grandmother, Lillie Mae Childress and step-grandmother Nina Ward.
Anthony's life was forever changed by the joyful birth of his only son, Alijah J Ward.
Anthony is survived by his parents, LaVette Jones and Step-father Joseph Terrazas and his father Aaron Ward Jr., Carmen Mosby and his twin sister Alia J Ward. He also leaves behind his brother, Aaron Ward III, his aunt Crystal Ward, uncles Petie, Steven, Cortez Duncan and his uncle Jermaine Fanning Sr. His grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ray A. Duncan, Euetta Moore, and Aaron A Ward Sr.
Anthony was blessed, adored and loved by a host of cousins, extended family and friends who will love and miss him tremendously.
Visitation will be held 9 – 11 a.m., Friday, July 15, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Zion Grove Baptist Church, 2801 Swope Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64130.
