Etta Shepherd, 84, passed away on January 9, 2016 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House. Etta was born April 10, 1931 in Tyler Texas the daughter of David and Mary (Rose) McCleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Billy Thompson, five brothers and two sisters. Etta is survived by four sons, Charles Lee Starks “Sonny” (Geneva), Kenneth Garlington, Steven Thompson and Robert Thompson (Erin); eight sisters, fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 9 am until service time at 10 am at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forrest Hills Cemetery.
