

Amy Cooper, 92, Liberty, MO, died at Northcare Hospice House, NKC, MO. Memorial services are 6:30 PM Thursday, November 5th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where visitation begins at 5:00 PM. Inurnment will be Friday in the Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House.
Amy was born in Morriston, Fulton County, AR, the daughter of William Abb and Mary Ellen Taylor Langston. She was a hairdresser who owned and operated her own beauty shop for several years in KCMO. She was past matron of the Order of the Easter Star-East Gate Chapter (Independence, MO) as well as a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution-Alexander Doniphan Chapter (Liberty) - and the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 66 years, Belvin Leonard Cooper; her parents; two brothers, V. Glen and John Caleb Langston; and three sisters, Betty Jean Lechleidner, Abbie Ellene DeWitt, and Patricia Ann Fracol.
Amy is survived by a daughter, Vivian Ann Stockwell; granddaughter, Sherilyn (David) Camerlinck; and great-granddaughters, Dallas June and Danielle Jewel Camerlinck, all of Liberty; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and friends.
