Barbara Calvert, 85, passed away peacefully in Warsaw, MO surrounded by family on March 28, 2023. Barbara was born in and lived most of her life in Independence, MO. She loved to go camping and fishing. She worked at Hallmark Cards, Inc. retiring in 1991. After retirement, she moved with her husband to the Lake of the Ozarks, Climax Springs, MO.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Donald B. Calvert, her mother and father Eddie and Pearl Warren, her brothers Edmund Warren, Leonard ‘Sonny' Warren, Melvin Warren, her sisters Lorene Wiley, Irene Stinnett, Shirley Becraft, Joyce Pennington, Carollee Crayton, and her great granddaughter Rylee Holthaus.
Survivors include Daughter Sandy Calvert-Holthaus (Matt), Son Donnie Calvert, Grandsons Ryan Holthaus (Alexa), Chris Holthaus (Jasmine), Granddaughters Stevie Cambiano (David), Leah Woirhaye, Great granddaughters Kaylee Cambiano, Riley Cambiano, Ariana Holthaus and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service for the family will be held 2:00 PM Saturday April 8, 2023 at DW Newcomer’s Floral Hills Cemetery at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., KCMO.
