Bertha DeLaTorre Villanueva of Kansas City, MO passed away January 13, 2015 at home. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on January 17, 2015 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Villanueva was born August 20, 1925 in Madison, KS. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mom loved to dance and sing. She was the best cook. Everyone loved her. She was the best mom in the world! God bless you, Mom. We know you are with Dad. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Genaro Villanueva. She is survived by brother, Phil DeLaTorre and sister, Anne Villa; daughters Marcy, Nancy, Yolanda and Patricia; sons, Genaro, Jr. and Mark; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many friends and family.
