Betty M. Hays

Betty was born September 10, 1931 in Lee's Summit, Missouri to Edward and Della Reiss. She was a member of the Raytown Chapter of Eastern Star, Heart of America Boat Club and the Silver Shoe Square dance club.

She was preceded in death by her husband Everett J. Hays, her parents Edward Reiss and Della Reiss, her sister Constance Reiss and her brother Edward Reiss. She is survived by her son Edward E. Hays and his wife Madeline Hays, her daughter Deborah S. Hathaway, her granddaughters: Allison S. Sullivan, Angela M. Fielder and Christina Sparks and her grandson Edward E. Hays and her 3 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters.

A Visitation for Betty will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am. Burial will take place in Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
