Betty W. Martin, 81, KCMO, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at her home. Betty was a graduate of KC Business College and retired from Coca-Cola after 37 years of service. She was a member of Hickman Mills Community Christian Church and a lifetime Auxiliary member of both the VFW and DAV. Betty was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 49 years, George Robert “Bob” Martin and her brother Billy “Sonny” Webb. She is survived by her children Traci Martin, Douglas Martin, and Tamara Urias; her sister Donna Rorie; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wed., June 17, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home. Service will be 11 a.m. Thurs., June 18, at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the KC Cancer Center.
