Beverly Ann Henry

Beverly was born on November 24, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri to Fredrick and Virginia (Loban) Bretch. She married John David Masden on March 13, 1959. They spent 28 years together and three children before divorcing. She later married Eugene Henry. She worked as a machine operator with Peterson Manufacturing Company.

Beverly was a caring mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She looked forward to being surrounded by family and friends during holiday or birthday celebrations. She was an avid walked and could be seen often strolling through town. She also enjoyed playing bingo, listening to music, and dancing.

Beverly is survived by her son David Masden of Belton, Missouri, daughters Victoria Sparks of Belton, Missouri and Jennifer Masden of Harrisonville, Missouri. Her five grandchildren: Joseph Sparks, Gage Sparks, Zoe Masden, Zane Masden, and Zeta Masden.

She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Virginia Bretch and her brother Kenneth Bretch and her sister and nephew Tammy and Robert King.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to HELP Humane of Raymore Missouri.

A true no kill cat shelter. Anyone who knew Beverly knew how much she loved her cats.

A visitation for Beverly will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131.
