Beverly was born on May 13, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Thomas and Loretta Henshaw. She dedicated her career to serving in the United States government and later worked at Henshaw Electronics. A devout Catholic, Beverly found joy in exploring various churches and attending masses during her travels. One of her most cherished experiences was a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, which deepened her faith and left a lasting impact on her life.
An avid reader and creative spirit, Beverly expressed herself through crocheting and painting. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, adventurous nature, and artistic talents. Beverly's warm presence and gentle wisdom touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of love and creativity for her family and friends.
Beverly is survived by her son, Sean Latham; grandson, Kody Latham; great-granddaughters, Nora Latham and Genevieve Latham; and siblings Janet (Ted) Robins, Ray Henshaw, Sharon (Bud) Mitchum, Mary Henshaw, Joe (Marta) Henshaw, Steve Henshaw, David Henshaw, and Carol (Bobby) Mazza. She was preceded in death by her siblings Barbara Howard, Gary Henshaw, and James Henshaw.
The viewing will be held at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Curé of Ars Catholic Church, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Beverly's memory.
