Her graveside service will be Friday, June 3 at 2pm at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO.
Born in Springfield, Ohio, the eldest of six children of Dwight C. and Helen Ball Miller, Bev grew up in Kansas City. Married to Lewis Patterson, she lived in several cities while raising her sons, Chet and Kurt Patterson. Bev became a licensed real estate broker, married Marvin Meadows, and moved to Nashua, NH as an active Realtor.
Bev moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1979, where she became the top producer on Siesta Key for several years, and a leading Realtor. In 1994 she established her own company, retiring in 2004. She owned two cabin cruisers, and became the first female skipper of the Sarasota Yacht Club.
Throughout her life, Bev was devoted to caring for and protecting animals. She supported organizations everywhere for that purpose. Twenty years ago, Bev helped establish Cat Depot in Sarasota.
Bev is survived by her husband, Garo Partoyan; her sons, Chet of Atlanta, Georgia, and Kurt of Mesquite, Nevada; granddaughters, Annaliese and Hannah Patterson of China Village, Maine; sisters, Marilyn Swink of Sarasota and Lynn Barrick of Branson, MO; and other family.
