Beverly married the love of her life Mr. Robert L. Woody July 11th, 1953, 54 glorious years said to be the best thing that ever happened to her. She graduated Westport High School in 1945. Beverly was an active member of Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church in Raytown, Mo. where she loved singing in the choir and visiting the congregation. Childhood memories include riding bikes to Swope Park, going to Fairland Park and the movies with her sister. Later in life loved doing arts and crafts and following her extended family “The Waytown Wabbits” softball team whom she thought of as her other kids. Something you may not have known about Beverly is that when she lived in Jefferson City, Mo. she was on a television show where she read books to increase the reading of children by picking out a book featured at the library. Kids would see her in public and say “hey mom that’s the library lady from TV”. For most of her life she was a loving caring mother, wife, mother in law and a friend to all that knew her. Mrs. Woody was truly loved and will be missed by all. She earned her wings. God bless.
