Caroline M. Coldsnow (Peggy) was born May 2, 1915 in Kansas City, Missouri. She went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2016. She lived in Independence most of her life before moving to John Knox Village in 1991 where she resided until her death. She was a member of the Mt. Washington United Methodist Church since age four, and was the Church organist for thirty years. She was a former member of the PEO Sisterhood and the Fortnightly Study Club of Independence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. Coldsnow, who died in 1979, and her brothers David DeHardt and Phillip DeHardt.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth James (Jim) Coldsnow and Roger D. Coldsnow, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother John H. DeHardt of California. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 9:30 am until service time at 10 am at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow.
