Carolyn E. Londerholm (Latham) was called home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Kansas City, MO, she graduated from Westport High School. Initially, she worked for Western Auto before serving as the Missouri Division of Employment office manager in Gladstone and Kansas City, MO.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Londerholm; her parents, William and Genevieve Latham; her daughter, Deborah Smothers; and her sisters, Judy Egner and Sharon Easley.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Smothers (Clearwater, KS); daughters, Dawn Macke (Prairie Village, KS); and Sherri Gibson (Chapin, SC); her brother, Dale Latham (Kansas City, MO); her sister, Linda Elgin (Grove, OK); as well as eight grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Her faith, love for family, and gentle spirit were the cornerstones of her life. Carolyn's love for her family was boundless, leaving a legacy of care and compassion. We rejoice in knowing she is now in the arms of Jesus, at peace and reunited with loved ones.
