

Cecelia Rose Moody, 79, of Kansas City, MO passed away Wed., March 27, 2013 at West Ridge Gardens. Funeral service will be Tues., April 2nd at 10:00 am at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel with burial to follow in Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the chapel with the rosary recited at 7:30 pm. Cecelia was born on January 31, 1934 in KCMO to Raymond S. & Mildred C. (Morton) Falke. She was a member of the Korean War Veterans Organization Chapter #2 Women’s Auxiliary and also a member of the YMCA “Silver Sneakers”. Cecelia had many interests and hobbies; she sewed, quilted, crocheted and was even a painter. She enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers, cheering on her KC Royals, she loved to bowl and watch Nascar Races. Cecelia was a loving Mom and Grandma and was an avid supporter of her kids and grandkids activities. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas, Jr.; one sister, Dorothy Noland and a grandson, Christopher Chrisman. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Thomas, of the home; one daughter, Paula Chrisman (Michael); three sons, Randall Moody (Jackie), Russell Moody & Craig Moody (Jeanna); two brothers, Jerry Falke (Judy) & Albert Falke (Shirley); one sister, Loretta Salsig (Gene); grandchildren, Brandi Degroot, Scott Chrisman (fiancé, Haleigh), Brett Moody, Emily Moody & Dylan Moody; great-grandchildren, Alexander Moody, Shayden Moody, Cierra Masters, Gauge Chrisman & Lydia Edwards.
