Cecilia Marie Ottinger, 87, of Leawood, KS, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Menorah Medical Center. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13 at Cure Of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Cecilia was born October 26, 1926 in St. Joseph, MO. She married her husband, Curt Ottinger, in 1950 and enjoyed 63 wonderful years of marriage. Cecilia loved traveling and visited over 60 countries throughout her journeys. Cecilia also volunteered at St. Joseph Medical Center for many years. In addition, she was a member of Ladies of Charity.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Chris Ottinger, in 2011. She is survived by her husband, Curtis E. Ottinger, Sr.; son, Curtis E. Ottinger Jr. (Shelley); daughter-in-law, Jill Ottinger; and four grandchildren: Stephanie Ottinger, Chris Ottinger, Jr., Amanda Ottinger, and Alex Ottinger.
