Charles Hoover Goff, 83, passed away August 6, 2012 at The Groves, Independence, MO. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 11th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to a charity of choice.
Charles was born to Charles N. and Shirley Irene Goff on September 26, 1928 in Kansas City. He was a graduate of Manual High and Vocational School. Charles was a Navy veteran serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post #21. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby in 2001; his parents; a brother Jim Goff and a sister, Alice DeMeyer.
Survivors include his son, Chuck Goff; daughter, Tracy Nelson; sister, Joan Justice; and numerous nieces and nephews.
