

Charles P. “Chuck” Kraft passed away unexpectedly at his winter home in Tucson, Arizona on August 30, 2010. Born in Kansas City, Mo., he married his high school sweetheart, Dona Jean Fuller Kraft. Both graduated from Southeast High School and spent the majority of their lives together. Dona passed in December, 2007 after their 60th Anniversary. They are together again.
Chuck married Dona while serving in WWII in the Army Air Corp. He was an avid pilot and flew his own plane up to the time of his death. He was a brilliant man and a true Kansas City entrepreneur. Chuck was the Founder of “Kraft Tank Corp” and was the Chairman of “Kraft Telerobotics”( a world wide leader in the telerobotics field).
Chuck is survived by his 3 sons, Eric C. Kraft, wife Anne and two children, Ashley and Andrew of Tucson, AZ., Brett W. Kraft, wife Jan and daughter Melissa of Leawood, KS., and Barry P. Kraft, son Spencer and daughters Sabrina, Jacklyn, and Whitney of Leawood, KS.. All who ever met Chuck found him to be an articulate, knowledgeable, and caring individual.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 8th, 11:00 a.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church, 7231 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS, with entombment following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
