Charlotte Weir George, 82, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 in Pleasant Hill, MO. Visitation will be from 10-11 am at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home on Thursday, June 14, with the funeral following at 11 a.m. Entombment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Charlotte was born on June 1, 1930 in Twin Branch, WV. She was the daughter of William and Annie Prentice. She worked for AT&T and Southwestern Bell retiring in 1984. She enjoyed reading, crafts, flowers and gardening. Charlotte’s greatest love was for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Clinton “Bud” George, a brother, Tom Prentice and a sister Margaret Evans. She is survived by her children, Bill (Gloria), Steve, and David (Tammy) George, grandchildren, Jason, Heather, Jesselle, Amber, Ashley and Sara, and brother, Jimmy Prentice.
