Christina was born on November 27, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Victor L. Patti and Elsie A. Bowman Patti.
She attended Bishop Ward High School and began working immediately after graduation, starting her career at Phillips Petroleum. She later worked for Mobil Oil and finished her professional life at Evergy, retiring in 2014.
Christina’s life was never about recognition or attention—it was about showing up. She was the quiet force in the background, making sure everyone else was cared for. She bought the groceries so family gatherings could happen. She supported generations of Girl Scouts by buying countless boxes of cookies. She lovingly created flower arrangements for family weddings and made sure graves were decorated with flowers on holidays. Even while hospitalized, Christina had already purchased all of the Christmas gifts for that year, thinking of others before herself.
She was the sister who listened without judgment, the one who offered comfort simply by being present. Christina had a steady, dependable way about her that made people feel supported and loved, even if she never said much about it herself.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Elsie Patti.
Christina is survived by her brother, Victor Patti (wife Sharon), sisters Annamarie Nelson (husband Eric) and Gina Wilkinson (husband Christopher); four nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and great-nephews; and her aunts Lena Rizzo, Catherine Ancona, and Ermeen Tye.
In her final act of generosity, Christina donated her organs for research. She was cremated under professional care.
Christina’s legacy lives on in the traditions she upheld, the family she supported, and the countless quiet acts of love she gave throughout her life.
Christina wished for a private internment and will be surrounded by her family during that time. Thank you for your well wishes and love.
