Visitation will be 7-9 pm on Friday, August 12 at McGilley State Line Funeral Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Saturday, August 13 at the Chapel Mausoleum of Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO.
Clara was born on February 2, 1933 to Joseph and Rose (DeMarco) Salvaggio. She married the love of her life, John, on April 26, 1958. They raised three children, daughter Janine, and their twin sons Eric and Erle. Clara was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She was loved and respected by those in her community for her gardening and cooking.
Clara was the beloved wife of John V. Zans. She is survived by her children Janine (Dave) Gash, Eric (Casey) Zans, and Erle (Charlene) Zans; grandchildren Stacey Gash, Michelle Gash, Jesse (Amber) Tye, Kimberly (Kyle) Clifton, Laura (Travis) Merriman, Mary Zans, Cody (Randi) Zans, Kennedy Zans, and Tess Zans; and great grandchildren Cardell, Olivya, Kali, Hunter, Xander; and great great grandchild Carmelo.
