

He passed away into the everlasting presence of God and Christ on March 3, 2023
at his home in Grandview, Missouri. He was married to Linda Bales Thompson on December 23th, 1967 in the Church of the Brethren, where he was a member, in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated
from Northeast High School in 1962 and went on to attend McPherson College in McPherson, KS. He graduated in 1967 with a degree in Sociology. He served his country in the United States Army, with an honorable discharge as an E5 Staff Sergeant. He later graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in 1970 and worked as a Doctor of Chiropractics for many years until his retirement in 1998. Clark was a very special person. He loved to build and race go-karts, go hunting and shooting, and draw. He enjoyed reading and writing and was an excellent storyteller and cartoonist. He loved to watch old movies. His dog Charlie Brown was his sidekick and best friend. Above all, he loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Alexander Thompson and
Margaret May Thompson.
He is survived by wife, Linda Jean Thompson, son Bryan A. Thompson of Rolla, Missouri and daughter Tamara J. Carrell and husband Joshua Carrell, of Independence, Missouri, grandchildren Haley Carrell, Tristan Carrell, and Finnegan Carrell, and many friends and family members. He will be
missed by many.
The funeral will be held at the Blue Springs Cemetery, 2800 SW Walnut St, Blue
Springs, Missouri, 64015 at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 11th, 2023.
