She retired from Folger's Coffee Company after 30 years and went on to retire again from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline.
As a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, her unconditional love for her children was unwavering. Her family was the center of her world.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Richard Carmona. Sisters; Alice Fuentez, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Esther Estrada, and Beatrice Rodriguez. She is survived by daughters; Teresa Barnett and Vicki Andrews. Grandchildren; Gina Cox (Eric), Nicole Powell (Stephen), and Michele Troby. Great-grandchildren; Austin, AJ, Kailey, Liam, and Remy. Great-great-grandson; Atlas Grey. Brothers; Frank Ayala and Leo Ayala (Rachel). Longtime friend Percy Smith. Many nieces and nephews.
Visitation 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday, July 7 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Private interment.
