Daniel T. Williams, 57, Independence, Missouri, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation will be held 5-6 p.m., Thursday, June 21 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64131. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Garden Walk of Memories at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Dan was born November 15, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked for Southwestern Bell, retiring after 31 years of service. He was a 1973 graduate of Ruskin High School. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic O Say. He was preceded in death by his father, Hal Williams, in 2008 and his mother, Nancy Williams, in 2011. Dan is survived by his wife, Rhonda Williams; three stepchildren, Cade Stark, Chris Poland and Liz Davis; two grandchildren, Payton Sutton and Lilly Stark; one sister, Laurie Williams; four brothers, Mike Williams, Larry Williams, Steve Williams and Brian Williams, his wife, Lori; and niece, Shaye Williams.
