Danny W. Powell, 62, passed away December 18, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 9233 Ward Parkway, Suite 201, Kansas City, Missouri 64114.
Danny was born February 18, 1950 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He served in Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force. Danny loved computers and guitars. Danny will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Virginia Powell. He is survived by his wife of 14 years Debbie, 3 children, Wendy and husband David Broadwater, Walt and wife Lindsay Powell and Suzanne and husband Josh Stratton. 4 grandchildren, Grant, Jackson, Kaitlyn and Jonathan and sister Deniese Powell.
